Always leave the candle burning until the surface has become completely liquid. This may take a while, especially at the first use. When the wax is completely liquid, you can leave the candle on for up to one hour. The layer of liquid wax should never be higher than one centimeter. Never exceed the maximum burning time mentioned on the use label and never let the candle burn out completely. Always keep one inch of wax on the bottom.
